Cheats
OP-Intensify Fully Upgraded In Garage Cheat
There is a cheat for starting the game with the OP-Intensify part in the garage but it only works with the CodeBreaker or Gameshark devices. The code is 105BE036 0000FFFF 005B2370 00000001.
Drop Parts
Hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 + Triangle to drop your R arm weapon, Back Unit, and Inside parts. Hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 + L3 to drop Extension parts. Hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 + Circle to drop L arm weapons.
First Person View
Insert a memory card with saved game files from Armored Core 2 or Armored Core 2: Another Age. After saving and resuming in Armored Core 3 from that memory card, pause the game, then press L1 + R2 + X + Square + D-pad to get a first person view of the current screen. Note: The screen will return to normal when the game is resumed.

Beat The Hardest Arena ACs
In the Arena level you will see 4 different nooks opposite of each other. Equip something like the Linear Cannon or Grenade launcher, and just hide inside of one of the nooks. Let your enemy come to you, and once they get close enough, the impact shock from these weapons ill cancel whatever they are doing. Just keep pegging em; and they'll go down eventually. It doesnt always work, but I know it did for Exile, and a few of the harder opponents.
100% Mission Completion
You have to find all the hidden and preformance parts as well as the OP-INTENSIFY abilities to get 98%. To get 100% you must complete all the missions with a S rating.
Defeat The Massive Weapon (Mech Whale)
First buy two lock-on orbit cannons, floating legs and a hand weapon. When the mission starts move back behind the main platform and after it fires its grenades quickly launch the orbit cannons and take cover.there is also a hidden part here on the oposite side I wrote to go to at the start. NOTE: Hiding under the main platform will prevent the missle barrage from hitting you.
Add Defeated AC Emblems
Press Select + Start when viewing a defeated AC at the victory screen to add the defeated AC's emblem to your list. If done correctly, you will hear a sound.
Easy Arena Match Wins
Go to the "Reservoir" arena level. At the beginning of the match, boost backwards to the point where your AC is almost out of bounds (indicated by the red line on your radar). Most arena opponents will try to get in behind you to attack. Using this trick will cause them to go out of bounds. You may take a little damage, but most fights will be over within ten seconds. Keep in mind that some opponents will not fall for this, but most will.
Bonus Optional Part
Successfully complete the game and load up the clear data. You will receive mail stating that someone wants you to defeat a pilot named "Exile" and that he is very powerful and if you need an edge. Buy the OP-INTENSITY part. It is free, but you need every optional slot open for it.
Fast & Easy Arena Victories
(This hint can help in any Armored Core release in it's series) Do a few missions and low-rated arena challenges; with enough credits, purchase high armored parts (head, core, arms, legs) where your AP is no less than 9000; choose "Parking Garage" as your arena; when the fight starts, get to any corner of the garage and wait for the challenger to come to you; when you have a lock, just throw everything you have at him/her. Basically, you are racing to see whose AP will drain first but with 9000+ AP, you will always come out on top (this has worked 98% of the time for me and builds up your credits so you can upgrade your mech; this in turn, allows your to complete the harder Missions better).
Get MEBT-OX/MB Part
In 3rd Layer Industrial Research. Mission, Rescue the Survey Team. You must fond this part. Right before the door that�s opened by a switch on the wall, there is a sewer outlet on the left wall (opposite side of the switch) near the ground that has the part inside.
Get MEST-MX/CROW Part
In 2nd Layer Waste Disposal. Mission, Disable Pulse Generators. You must find the part. There are 4 generators, and two of them are in ducts. Near the generator in the duct in the lower of the two large rooms there is a duct that goes up around the generator. In that duct you will find the part.
Get RMR-ICICLE Part
In 3rd Layer Industrial Research. Mission, Defend Personnel Convoy. You must successfully complete the mission without losing any of the convoy.
Get CHD-04-YIV Part
3rd Layer Industrial Research. Mission, Defend Naire Bridge, find this part. Go to the end of the first part of the bridge, where the bridge gap is. If you fly down and under the bridge back toward the start location you will see the part on the edge of the bridge.
Get KWG-HZL30 Part
3rd Layer Industrial Research. Mission, Destroy Naire Bridge. Destroy two monorails and successfully complete the mission to get part.
Get CEEC-01-XSP2 Part
In first layer special research. Mission, eradicate life forms. You must destroy the life forms without using the gas canisters. (note: use a strong blade and have lost of AP, it helps)
Get MWG-XCB/75 Part
In 1st Layer Special Research. Mission Defend Ruglen Laboratory, you must defeat the AC and successfully complete the level.
Get CEBT-HEX Part
In 3rd Layer District 1. Mission Safeguard Alloy Sample. You must complete the mission without losing the transport.
Get MRL-SS/SPHERE Part
In first layer special research. Mission, Protect Crest convoy. You must find this part. The part is by a radar dish near a small base South East of your starting location. If you jump to the upper edge and head a bit South East you will see the base.
Get KWB-MARS Part
In the first layer nature area. Mission, destroy the massive weapon (not MT) you must find this part. The part is located on one of the beams just above the water of the platform you start on. It�s on the side that you are facing when you start the mission. (note: use hovering legs to avoid falling in the water.)
Get MWG-SBZ/24 Part
In first layer natur area. Mission, Recover Ship cargo. You must find the part, You will come to a large room with two doors, one door leads to your mission objective, the other to the part.
Get MWI-DD/20 Part
In the first layer natur area. Mission, Defend the water processors. You must find the part.You will find the part on the other side of the pipes to the right of you when you start. (note: use hovering legs, they prove quite useful)
Get KWX-OC-22 Part
In first layer special research. Mission, Destroty germ canisters. You must kill all the MT�s and opposing troops as well as successfully complete the mission.
Get MWG-XCB/75 Part

If you already have beaten the mission and then get the OP-INTENSIFY then you have that ability, if not then you should get a mail notice when you complete the mission.
Get MLH-MX/VOLAR Part
To get the MLH-MX/VOLAR you must do AC test 1 and get the S rating to do this you must destroy at least 45-50 targets. You should get a mail notice if you do this correctly
Get CBT-FLEET Part
In the first layer nature district, mission destroy the massive MT. At the beggining of the mission head to the northwest corner there is a small nook, the part is in the middle of that, it�s a small black object on the ground.
Get MLB-MOONLIGHT Part
In the first layer nature district, mission destroy the massive MT. Successfully complete the mission without using a consort.
Get KES-ES/MIRROR Part
In first layer Nature Area, Mission Defend water processors, You must complete the second half of the mission
Get KWM-AD-50 Part
In the third layer Industrial Research, Mission MT Training Exercise. You must complete the mission without getting hit.
Get The MWG-KARASAWA Part
In first Layer Special Research, Mission Destroy gun implacements. You must finish the first mission in a SHORT amount of time. Just go for the gun emplacements don�t worry about the camouflaged MT�s. Then you must accept and successfully complete the second part of the mission. A consort can be used, and helps A LOT and you still get the part.
Get Defeated AC Emblems
View the Arena Menu and select a ranked AC that you have defeated. Once an AC's profile shows up and you see the AC and emblem press Start+Select at the same time. You should hear a noise if you did it correctly and you get the AC's emblem!
Beat Ace In A Snap
Beating the #1 arena AC isn't easy. I realized an easy trick. In the Ruins stage where you start out, simply jump over the horizonatal laying pillar. After that there should be a corner directly to your right. Back yourself into it and wait for Ace to jump on you, even of he hits you, stay there! Eventually he jumps ontop of your AC and stands and jumps there, Where you can shred him to bits simply by standing there and pointing up. (it may take one or two times, but it works.) You can use this trick to beat a variety of computer AC's. (not all of them though)
